What makes a women's rucksack different?
A women's-specific pack is not just a smaller version of a men's one. The back length is shorter, the shoulder straps are narrower and curved to sit clear of the chest, and the hip belt is angled to match wider, more tilted hips. The result is that more of the weight sits on your hips, where it should be, and less on your shoulders.

How to measure your back length
Back length matters more than height. Tilt your head forward and find the bony bump at the base of your neck, then measure down your spine to the level of the top of your hip bones. Choose a pack whose back length range covers that number. If you are between sizes, try both with some weight in them.

Do women need a women's-specific backpack?
