UV Protection
In warmer climates we prefer the Gobi wide-brimmed hat, which uses a lightweight and highly breathable Supplex polyamide to keep the head cool. A wide 7cm brim and UV rating of 50+ protects all sides of the head and neck from the sun, while a treatment on the outer fabric keeps mosquitoes and midges away. There is a removable and adjustable chin strap, while a one-handed drawcord adjuster at the back allows for a better, quicker fit.

MOSQUITO REPELLENT
Our technical headwear uses our DEET-based insect-repellent treatment on the outer fabric, protecting against biting insects such as mosquitoes and midges that may carry harmful diseases like Malaria. The Advisory Committee for Malaria Prevention in Travellers recommends DEET-based insect repellents as offering the most effective protection. Our treatment is guaranteed for at least five washes
